Assalamualaikum readers!!!

This post will bring you my latest/ final wedding cake. I will stop taking orders temporarily due to several matters...But insyaAllah..I will resume my business perhaps next year???hehehe...

Okay...this wedding cake is a combination of buttercream and fondant mostly for the figurines...and as simple embellishment around the cake...hehe...

It's a chocolate cake with blueberry filling at the centre...

My customer @ my relative wanted to have this cake for her sister's wedding...where she inititally showed me the concept and design for the cake...so...I was like..."okay..InsyaAllah..I cannot do a same cake...but a similar cake...is it ok???"...and so...after a short discussion...I came up with the cake...hehe...hope they all love it...Aminn...

And for Ita...I wish you all the best for your marriage life..be a good Muslimah dan Isteri Solehah...

P/S: Some of you maybe wondering why the groom sit on the couch rather than the bride???right???....
As I mentioned above..I follow the original concept by the customer...but I think...that doesn't matter...isn't it???hehehe...^_^

Small wedding cake

Another wedding cake this month...my client...(hehehe)...would like to have a small wedding cake...with a couple figure as cake topper and decorated with love shapes around the cake...ala ala kek Dato' CT...
Ermmm.....there's two version of the topper...due to some circumstances...i had to substitute da topper from a medium size couple to a smaller size couple...huhuhuhu...

Happy New Year 2013!!!

I haven't thinking bout my thoughts for 2013...busy completing my assignment and dissertation...huhuhu...

Okay...Dec 2012 was a busy month for me...my great cousin ordered a wedding cake from me..and I'm happy to make her the wedding cake...although i'm having some time constraint...

The theme colour is peach, where she wanted to have a basic peach colour cake with white and black coloured flowers....Her ideas was simple but nice...^_^v...

I had some difficulties to cover the cake with fondant since the icing was not very hard (to get a beautiful covered fondant cake, you have to add 1 cup butter + 4 cups sugar!!!!) and i just add 1 1/2 cup sugar since most of my customer complaint my icing taste sweet,...huhuhu...you know Malaysian do not really favour sweet icing, plus fondant also taste sweet...if plus together, you will get diabetes...hohohoho....

Anyway, past is past...let's have a peek at the cake...hehehe

Wedding utk saudara...they wanted to have a white base cake with purple orchids on top...but i aligned the cake with some purple strip and glitter beads to enhance the purple color...
Alhamdulillah famili saudara love it...hehehe...

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to these lovely people...who trusted me to bake the daughter's wedding cake...However, the icing spoilt after several days, that was my mistake...kita belajar dari kesilapan...kan?but still thanks again for giving me da oppourtunity to explore my fondant skills...heheheh...3 cakes in a week...akhirnya siap jgak...Tapi nak tunjuk pelamin yg cantik dl...kikiki...

My best friend's wedding cake...Tapi Shukra x sempat tgk...ni la kek kawin awak!!!hehehe....It's a buttercream icing cake, with a fondant figure, the bride and groom on the centre of the icing...Hope you love the design...dgn kek skali ye Shukra...

Actually these are the old cuppies design that I suggested to my bestfriend's wedding...just wanna share the pics...
I made a bride as the topper...probably it would be better if I can put both the bride and the groom...but the cup is very small...
Need to adjust the face part...hehehe...
I made a wedding gown for the other design, I saw this idea through the web and it attract my attention...Again, it would be better to have a pair... (tux)

Wedding Gifts!!!

A friend of mine ordered cupcakes as a gift for her friend's wedding. So the theme should be wedding theme...
She suggested to have combination of either 'pink, white, brown' or 'pink, white, & green' as the color of the designs...
And I used some sources from the internet to develop my designs...hehehe...It was fun doing cupcakes for wedding...I even molded the fondant into miniature wedding cake...

My bestfriend's wedding!!!

This is a dark chocolate cake with buttercream icing...This is for my bestfriend's wedding...the theme color is yellow...I've added three red roses at the side to represent 'I LOVE YOU'...and some rose bud on the other side and a little bit of lavender for color variation...
But this is not the best cake I've ever made and I'm quite dissapointed with the result...the buttercream melted on the way...My deepest appology to my friend!!!



My friend also ordered some cupcakes for her guest...I've made several designs but I managed to shot only 3 designs...rushing...heheheh...
